Jobs of the future: A.I. takes the league!
ROBOTS ARE TAKING OVER! No literally, I’m sure as a young boy or girl you’ve seen and even heard of the infamous “ Year 2020” you know, flying cars, teleportation, and robots who do the dishes without sass. One might add “Sounds terrific! Now where do I sign up?” Hold your horses cowboy! Consider your sources or rather resources. What ever happened to the momentum of 2020 from previous generations? What most might have anticipated to be the year of artificial intelligence, quickly deflated in deathly disease, famine, and loss of jobs. With disparates peaking through the cracks of a broken nation this leads me to inquire on the jobs of our future. Where are we headed?
It comes as no surprise that due to recent economic relations surrounding COVID-19, most were left with little to no insight as to what life may look like for most in the very near future. While most couldn’t fathom a year devoted to tremendous loss, many selected individuals have already set out not only a plan for the future but you might have seen its infiltration as early as you could remember. According to ‘Resumeble.com’ 1 million jobs will no longer “exist” by the year 2026. Thats as soon as 4 years away from today! Too close for comfort seems attractive from afar. Remember seeing robots in all your favorite cartoons and tv shows as a kid? Now ask yourself if the robots you dreamed about may indeed be your worse nightmare. It’s precisely a nightmare for a working class family who’s solely dependent on the economic positioning of the nation by which they themselves employ, but you? No! of course not, you’re apart of the 1% whom may not be named…*cough*.

Talk about tech savvy! A clear path of a future with AI was already rendered and socially accepted to be what is the coming of age. Most of the jobs of the future (years 2025-2050) may come as a surprise to you, probably not just because you and I have no idea who or what they are (if you really want to know, click the link) but more so what does these “future” jobs say about the future most should expect.
A world ran by robots doesn’t sound as far fetch as the new flying Cadillac that we were presented in the early 2000’s. In phone “Apps” actually pay you real money when ever you’d like to engage, in exchange for a fraction of your time. So is it safe to consider the idea that everything is preordained in some sort? Similar to you knowing you work at 5pm every Wednesday, yeah you may choose not to come in on time, or your car ran out of gas causing you to miss a day, or even you decided to wear a red tie, you still understand your goal for the evening is to be to work at 5 every Wednesday.
